digisns76 No Comments

I am working with files from a mobile DVR. The DVR uses H.264 compression and the files are AVI. The files can be opened and view on my PC just fine but cannot be opened on the Mac. To view the files I have been using a program called Elmedia Player. The files also cannot be imported into Premiere Pro CS5 or CC. I do not have Premiere on the PC to be able to try to import there unfortunately.

Any suggestions on what I can install to be able to import the files into Premiere without doing a conversion? If not any other converters that people would recommend? Any further info I have missed that would help?

Maybe other people have same trouble, no worry, keep reading. As we know, AVI is just a container for a video format, and can contain videos encoded in different formats. Cant import Sony PMW-EX3 footage with AMA Plug-in

Then I try to import footage from the Sony PMW-EX3 to Avid via AMA, and there is text over my clip now that says “wrong format” in big white letters. So I choose “import” as DNX and it says the file format is not supported for import? I started reading the forums and didn’t find any immediate (and reasonable) solutions. I installed the sony AMA plugin and it didnt work. It didnt fix my problem. I even quit and came back in and that plugin doesn’t seem to let me play those mp4 clips. I’m on a brand new iMac 10.9.4. digisns76 No Comments

Canon EOS 80D is able to help you record full HD videos in H.264 codec MOV or MP4 format, after you recorded videos with this camera, you may want to load the videos into editing programs such as iMovie, FCE, FCP for editing.

H.264 MOV delivers stunning picture quality, but it not an ideal editing format for iMovie, FCE, FCP. H.264 compression format requires that files be transcoded into a format better suited for editing with iMovie, FCE, FCP. For example Apple InterMedia Codec for iMovie/FCE and Apple ProRes for FCP.

Thus, you need a third-party software to transcode the H.264 MOV to Apple InterMedia Codec for iMovie/FCE and Apple ProRes for FCP. Pavtube Video Converter for Mac - a powerful high-quality video converter, player and editor. If you’re editing Canon 80D MOV files with iMovie, FCE, FCP etc. non-linear editing systems without qualit loss, chances are you already installed this great utility. Notes:

1.When converting video to Final Cut Pro oriented format templates(e.g. Apple Prores), please ensure that your computer has Final Cut Pro installed, otherwise the converted files will have audio only without image.

2.If you are using FCP X, please make sure you have installed ProApps QuickTime Codecs, or you may get files with sound only without video.

Read the difference of ProRes.

• Apple ProRes 422 – Higher quality than Apple ProRes 422 (LT);

• Apple ProRes 4444 – Edit and finish 4:4:4 material.

Traditions of Mother’s Day 2016

As a part of Mother’s Day 2016 traditions, children send cards or gifts to their mother or mother figure or make a special effort to visit her. They take their mothers out for a festive lunch or dinner to show their gratitude. Some children even go all the way to cook their mothers large and elaborate dinners, thus giving their mothers a break from preparing food for the family.

The official flower presented to mothers on mother’s day is the red carnation but it is also acceptable for a person to give just about any kind of flower. Another tradition involves displaying white carnation flowers on the grave of dead mothers. Other Common Mother’s Day gifts are flowers, chocolate, clothing, jewellery and treats, such as a beauty treatment or trip to a spa. In the days and weeks leading to Mother’s Day, many schools help their pupils to prepare a handmade card or small gift for their mothers.
